Some suitable donations include: money (charitable donation receipts for income tax purposes issued for all donations of $15 or more), to purchase food and vouchers, pork & beans, canned vegetables, pasta sauce, Kraft Dinner, canned fish (tuna), bags of pasta or rice, soda crackers, or soup. Donations of fresh fruit and vegetables in season are welcome. The Food Bank operates 2 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 am-12:00 noon, and is manned by volunteers. Description:The Minnedosa Cross Country Ski Club formed in November of 1992 by a group of local skiers interested in promoting the sport in the Minnedosa Area. Squirrel Hills ski trail development started in 1991 by local ski enthusiasts and the Minnedosa and District Wildlife Association. In 1992, club members constructed a warm-up hut on the Squirrel Hills trail.

Description:Besides courses in upgrading, the Adult Learning Centre offers high school courses to obtain a Mature High School Diploma, or a regular high school diploma. Description:Our child care cooperative is operated by a volunteer board of directors. The facility serves the community of Minnedosa and surrounding areas. MCCCC is an early learning environment that provides care for children ages 3 months to 12 years. We currently have 3 programs that include: infant & preschool daycare, nursery school, and school age program. The day care operates Monday through Friday from 6 am to 6 pm and provides care for children ages 3 months to 5 years. The Nursery School operates 2 days/week between September and June for children ages 3-5. The School Age Program runs before (7-8:45 am) and after school (3:30-6 pm) during the school year as well as full days from 7 am – 6 pm on in-services, spring break, Christmas break, and summer.

Description:The Minnedosa Curling Club operates the Curling Complex which generally operates late October to mid-March. The Men’s League plays Monday and Wednesday evenings, Ladies League Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Day League is Tuesday and Thursday, and Mixed League is Friday evening, Junior curling is run by the schools and is Monday to Thursday after school. Description:The Rivers Edge Recreation Park Project is a grass roots effort to develop a recreational area west of Tanner’s Crossing School, north of the river. Our plan is to develop this area in 4 phases over 5-7 years. We are pleased to announce that Phase 3 of the project is now complete!
