Meet The Council
Reeve Syslak served as Councillor from November 1995, prior to becoming Reeve in 2006. He was born in Winnipeg and raised near the Village of Clanwilliam, in the R.M. of Minto. In 1982, Keith took over the family farm which he still operates today. He is married to Sandra and has four children; Thomas, Pamela, Robert & Lyle, and one grandchild. Councillor Burnside served as Councillor from 1998 - 2002, before being re-elected in 2006. He was born, raised and still resides near the Village of Bethany, in the R.M. of Minto. He is retired but remains active in Bethany Community and Church activities. He is married to Janice and they have two children; Bradley & Destiny.

Councillor Dowsett has served as Councillor since November, 1995. He resides in the R.M. of Minto. He operates a grain and cattle farm. He is married to Karen and has four children; Jon, Lyle, Kane & Brenda.

Councillor Jacobson has served as Councillor since November, 1989. He was born in Erickson and currently resides in the R.M of Minto. He currently works for Canadian Pacific Railway, as a Locomotive Engineer. He is married to Kristine and has three children; Glenn, Janna & Tyler.
