Healthy Active Minnedosa is a chronic disease prevention initiative, promoting better health through more activity, healthier eating and cessation of smoking. It is funded by Manitoba Health and Healthy Living. We meet about every two months and welcome new members.

The Little River Game and Fish Association of Minnedosa was founded approximately 12 years ago to promote and enhance the sport of hunting and fishing in our area of the province. We are affiliated with the Manitoba Wildlife Federation and we presently have a membership of 67. Our group actively sponsors many worthwhile projects in the community. CONTACT: Bob GrahamThe Manitoba Neurofibromatosis Support Group (MBNF) is committed to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF). MBNF provides support, promotes awareness by educating the public and aids in funding researach to improve treatment and find a cure for NF. MBNF hosts a variety of events throughout the year, publishes an annual newsletter, distributes resources, and provides an up-to-date website with a members forum to allow contact opportunity.

The Minnedosa Foundation is a community run organization that provides funding to charitable organizations that enrich and sustain the community. The Foundation's Trustee manages the fund built through donations from citizens like yourself. All gifts to the Foundation are eligible for tax receipts.

Mission Statement
To plan, organize and implement recreational programs which include physical, social, artistic and intellectual group recreation, for those people that live within the designated recreation district, and promote recreation as a viable necessity for the community through successful programs, networking, with organizations, media assistance and developing a volunteer base.
The 50+ Seniors Activity Cenre opened its doors in the fall of 2008. It hosts a variety of activities including floor shuffleboard, pool, card games, Wii games, quilting guild, scrabble & beginner bridge. Luncheons are scheduled on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

The fitness centre provides opportunities and health benefits for: community youth, sport organizations, pre-season conditioning for athletes, & the general public interested in a healthy life style.

The Minnedosa Kinette Club is part of a national organization called Kin Clubs of Canada. We are an all Canadian service group whose goal is "to serve the community's greatest needs." Women 18 years and older make up this club. The club meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm at member's homes. Service work includes running a craft sale, our trivia night and beer bottle drive. Our once a month get-out-of-the-house fun activities include suppers out, movie nights, scavenger hunts, bowling, etc. If you are new to Minnedosa and area, this is a great way to meet people. The Minnedosa Performing Arts Committee coordinates the Expressions Concert Series.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing live performances to Minnedosa. These performances include a variety of performing arts: vocal, instrumental, drama and dance and many genres from classical to contemporary to country. Our concerts will appeal to a wide audience of all ages.
We couldn’t do this without the work of our volunteer committee members and the generous support of our sponsors: Canadian Heritage; Manitoba Culture, Heritage and Tourism; Heritage Co-op; Minnedosa Foundation; Peter Harrison of Sutton-Harrison Realty, Minnedosa Credit Union and Prairie Geomatics.

RRFA is a non-profit volunteer based organization which provides a venue for student performance and adjudication in the following disciplines: piano, speach arts, visual arts, band, instrumental, vocal, choral & dance. The festival alternates between the communities of Rivers and Minnedosa. The festival will be held in Minnedosa in 2010 and 2011.

A non-profit organization, Services to Seniors, is available to support living for seniors and people with disabilities. With funding through the Assiniboine Regional Health Authority, the focus is on wellness.

The Minnedosa Chapter of T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday evening at 6:45 at the MCI Library (except when school is closed). New members welcome.

Minnedosa UCT meets the 1st Thursday of each month at the Regional Library. We have 4 main areas in which we do fundraising and awareness. They are: cancer, safety, youth/drug, and intellectual disabled. We have weekly Bingo on Tuesday - funds raised are used and stay in our community. UCT is a fraternal benefit society offering members insurance products and other benefits since 1888. We are truly united by a common theme of "People Helping People."
