Winter in Minnedosa is an exciting time as well for active folks with the opening of Ski Valley for the downhill skiers, the Squirrel Hills ski for cross country enthusiasts. We are home to an active snowmobile club and many groomed trails. Our lake becomes a home to many as a seasonal community of huts appears on the lake to enjoy ice fishing. Our annual pond hockey tournament, Skate the Lake, each February welcomes a growing number of teams from across the Province to experience the sport in the outdoors.
Spring is accompanied, by not only welcomed warmer temperatures, but also frequently new arrivals at our Bison Park, with new calves joining the community’s majestic herd. With the green grass returning after the winter snow, it’s certain that the golfers will want to be out on the links at the first opportunity, testing their skills on our 18 hole golf course.
